Prologue :

  • 2002, ConQuest, (no event)
During one of his great journeys to the west Paolo Armatio discovers the legendary continent of Mythodea. His loyal first mate Phileas Strongbow leads the first expedition on dry land. Paolo finds a sleeping world full of the ruins of a lost culture and a prophecy : It has been foretold that the heirs of the rulers of this culture should one day return to settle in this world again, but only if they would take on their inheritance.

  • 2003, New Order II
Paolo Armatio brings the first settlers and adventurers to Mythodea. They meet the Ouai, a quiet people calling themselves the last servants of the "Ancient Rulers” of the lost culture. With their help, Paolo and the settlers decipher the prophecy and open the first seal. The five elements the "gods” of this world reveal themselves to the settlers and tell them that four more seals have to be opened to conquer Mythodea, and that beneath each of them an ancient foe awaits.

Act 1 :

  • 2004, ConQuest, "The Seal of the North"
Lead by Paolo Armatio and the Archon and Nyame, Rulers of the First Seal, the next seal in the north of Mythodea is reached. Paolo’s friend and comrade Phileas Strongbow is captured by the Black Ice, which had been released the year before. He reappears, now bearing the title of "Sharuhn’Ar” and leading the armies of the Black Ice against the settlers.
Nevertheless, the settlers succeed in opening the second seal and naming a second Archon and Nyame. From beneath the Seal of the North the Void, another forsaken element is set free.

  • 2005, ConQuest, "The Fight for the West"
Even though the Void, spearheaded by Aniesha Fey and her Viinshar, does their best to keep them from it, the settlers succeed in reaching the third seal in the west. There, they not only find new challenges but also allies: the peoples of the elements, once created by the Ancient Rulers who in a sacrilege also made the Forsaken Elements. First and strongest ally of the settlers are the Naldar, who help open the Seal of the West.

  • 2006, ConQuest, "The Way South"
The third Archon and Nyame have been chosen and the Oily Pestilence has been set free, but now there’s a problem: The way to the fourth seal is hidden.
The settlers’ progress halts at Shang Meng Ray, a site of justice of the Ancient Rulers that now lies in ruins. There, the settlers manage to get some valuable information on their foes, the Forsaken Elements, their creators and the ancient culture. At the same time, through the cunning of the Sharuhn’Ar, the Forsaken manage to open the seal of the South.

  • 2007, ConQuest, "The Undead Flesh rises"
At the opening of the fourth seal Phileas Strongbow succumbs to the Bone Queen and accepts the name of "Argus”. Now he sets a trap for the settlers at the southern seal. His new mistress wants to keep the settlers from ever reaching the fifth and final seal. United under Argus all four Forsaken Elements now stand against the settlers. Still the settlers manage to save the Archon and Nyame of the South by a hair’s breadth.

  • 2008, ConQuest, "Doerchgardt"
At the Bone Queen’s behest Argus concocts more plans to impede the settlers.
In a border stronghold of the Undead Flesh he constructs a seal. As the host of the elements can’t break the fortresses’ walls the seal closes over the avatar of Terra. The advance of the warriors of the elements seems to really be halted for the first time in seven years!

  • 2009, ConQuest, "The City of Seals"
After the defeat at Doerchgardt the settlers are desperately looking for information on the construction of the seals and tools to break open the avatar of Terra’s prison. At the City of Seals, the site where the ancient rulers developed the technology of the seals they finally find these answers as well as the Xerikan, the most powerful tools of the ancient constructers. Yet with the answers come new questions, such as what the Ratio is, the wellspring of all the Forsaken Elements that is said to lie dormant beneath the fifth seal...

  • 2010, ConQuest, "Doerchgardt falls"
Strengthened by the events in the City of Seals and by the arrival of a new ally, the Swords Eternal of the Tivar Khar’assil, the settlers break the gates of Doerchgardt open, kill Argus’ steward An’nai and free the avatar of Terra. Meanwhile the adventurers discover the way to the last seal, but so does Argus. There, the Ratio and the creators of all the Forsaken Elements, the so called Primordial Sceptics are said to be hidden. Along the way, some settlers are beginning to doubt whether Argus and the Forsaken he commands are actually aiming for the same goal.

  • 2011, ConQuest, "At the Iron Gate"
The way to the fifth seal halts at the Iron Gate, the only entrance to the place where the Ancient Rulers once hid the seal of the Ratio. Here the adventurers finally discover the truth about the Ratio. It is more than just a group of warriors from ancient times, it is doubt! Doubting the supreme power of the elements and proving that even without their blessing life can be created within their world, is what the Primordial Sceptics once did when they created the Forsaken Elements!
But apart from this realization the settlers also won a great victory: Aniesha Fey, Mistress of the Viinshar, was finally annihilated.

  • 2012, ConQuest, "The Great Decision"
Before the elements would allow the settlers to enter the Iron Gate they had to clearly decide what their intentions were. During a great vote, the settlers decided without doubt to follow the will of the avatars and the elements to open the final seal - come what may! Meanwhile the Iron Gate was activated and the settlers managed to defeat Elkantar, the Lord of the Pestilence. In a last stand at the Iron Gate Argus turned his back on the Forsaken Elements and took his closest confidants with him to the last seal. Once again he was one step ahead of the settlers!

  • 2013, ConQuest, "The Last Seal"
It took a whole year to open the Iron Gate again and follow Argus. But then everything did not go as expected: As soon as the settlers had entered the field facing Argus at the least seal, the seal opened a crack and revealed not the greatest enemy of creation but actually the source of all life on Mythodea.
Argus is captured and Phileas Strongbow is made captive. The settlers bring him to court where a fatal mistake leads to Paolo Armatio’s death. Finally, Argus is sentenced and executed. At the same time, the scholars and mages try to understand why the Ancients Rulers had put a seal over this place, the greatest sanctuary of the elements of Mythodea. Finally they realize that the Ratio had made it possible for the Primordial Sceptics to bring new things into this world, which was never part of the plan of the elements. Putting the source of this creative power the "Smithy of Creation” under a seal seemed to be the only way to hold the blasphemers at bay.

Act 2 :

  • 2014, ConQuest, "The Large Host"
By Argus own hand as well as the actions of the adventurers at the Final Seal, the Primordial Sceptics are free again and can continue their work of old. The ancient prophecy has been fulfilled and the Avatars left the worlds to leave the fate of Mythodea to the mortals once again.
Now it was time for the settlers and heroes of the Elements so face the root of all evil on Mythodea. A War Council was formed and a Large host sent into the Mirrorworld to find and judge the Sceptics in their secluded world.
But this attempt failed. A beachhead could be established on the other side of the crystall portal but all connection to the Elements was lost instantly when the Large Host entered the Mirrorworld. Within hours the forces were weakened and during the first night, the only present Nyame almost died. Even the powerful Archon of Thorns was not able to hold his ground in the following battles. Some places could be identified that had some kind of connection to Mythodea. But even at great cost those Shardspots could not be protected from the attacks by the Forsaken. At the dusk of the fourth day in Kelriothar (the original name of the Mirrorworld), after all the Shardspots close to the beachhead had been destroyed and even the last remnants of Terras Avatar were lost the War Council ordered a full retreat. They escaped to Mythodea, already planning a second attempt one year later.

  • 2015, ConQuest, "The Two Thrones"
Although all Archon and Nyames stayed back in Mythodea this year, a second invasion was tried - barely healed from the wounds they took last year. But some lessons had been learned. Soon, a new Mirrorpoint was found and this as well as the Shardpoints around it were constantly attacked and defended as long as possible. The Banner of Freedom even succeeded in permanently consecrating the Mirrorpoint to the World Council. The Unity and Adamant Banner on the other hand managed a united attack on the Herald of Wrath and took him down.
But not for long. Although both his as well as the body of the Herald of Doom seemed to be destroyed they returned only days later inside new bodies. A mystery that must be solved if the Primordial Sceptics are to be defeated! Meanwhile, brave soldier tried to gain control of Sim Sin'karaleths laboratory as well as her Dreamspike. The Herald of pride helped a little and hindered a little but in the end both endeavors succeeded. But if the new masters of those locations will hand control over to the Great Host is still uncertain.
During those daring hours at the Dreamspike, the Almahandra died and the Almahandir awakened and ascended the Black Throne of Dreams. Simultaneously some kind of agreement was met with Exar Charon at the Throne of Gold. This former Primordial Sceptic now seems to have become an ally. He helped to redeem the body of the Avatar of Terra and bring her soul back to Mythodea. But if such an individual, who formerly was one of the Creators of the Forsaken can now be trusted is yet to be seen.
All those triumphs were made possible by design flaws within the Sceptics creations (especially the Black and Golden Thrones). It can therefor be expected, that the enemy will protect their equipment better until next summer. A development that will present the Element's champions with new challenges!

  • 2016, ConQuest, "The Two Thrones"
Encouraged by the great success in the previous year, most adventurers and warriors of the Elements had great plans for this year. Early on it was clear, that they would also have to face a counterstrike by the Primordial Sceptics: strange weather phenomena as well as an ancient prophecy quickly led to the idea, that the enemy was messing with time itself. After the arrival in Kelriothar, Firin Krähensang was found and he was messing with an old machine of the Sceptics, an artifact that seemed to be able to stop time itself. This plan was foiled and Firin was killed for good but at what price...
The Great Host focused on this task and missed a lot that happened elsewhere. The great hope to kill off serveral Heralds and finally find a weakness that could be exploited to destroy the world was turned against them. The Undead Flesh managed to attack the Home of Souls inside the Banner of Explorers. The attack was stopped but a taint remained. Shey ksun Aret managed to attack Windbringer and the World Council and only the destruction of one of her Herald bodies stopped her from achieving godlike powers instantly. The forces of the Doubt as well as the 'Negators' seemed to have established an elaborate spy network within the Great Host and knew of all and everything long before most of the Elements warriors knew themselves. The Worldbreaker was secured by the Army of Doubt and put back into duty. The Shadow Alliance that was struck with Cel'athun the year before came to a sudden end when he was killed (but at least one of his masterplans to destroy the Mirrorworld from itself survived). Two of the Vaha'tar, carriers of the mighty 'Swords of Power', were killed and only one new was crowned, calling the Sword of Destruction his own. And finally, although the large artefact called Kedis'drogun was removed from Firins grasp it was neither understood compeletly nor used for more than simply shutting it down. This enabled the Nan-urr, a mysterious creature from within the artefact, to partially escape and leave scars on Mythodea.
In the end, the Great Host withdrew. Time continued to exist and flow and the Crow (Firin) was dead. But the Primordial Sceptics on the other hand had grown stronger again, ready to strike at Mythodea to take back, what was once theirs...
